well after reading all the notes you guys left on here and after hearing rattling noise coming from Disa valve on my 01 330Ci, I decided to take my Disa valve out and just by pass it. Then I came across a very easy solution to actually fix it and now the flap is not rattling anymore. I was shocked myself too that i actually fixed it. I just wished I videp taped it or something so I could share with you guys. But since I fixed it I have driven it for few days and noise is completly gone. I also noticed they leak right around the Disa where it sits into the intake manifold, so I used some clear RTV silicone and shut it closed since I am sure I dont have to take it apart again. after this, my rpm has been steady, my CEL is gone (Codes: P0171 and P0174) and my car has not driven this nice since I bought it new. Just waiting for my Vanos seal to come. So at least I have something to do on sunday after my hang over from Sat night partying with bitche$$ lol
I am so glad I repaired the Disa valve.
This is not a bull$hit thread cuz you might think its imossible to repair them but nothing is impossible.

Funny this topic comes up, as I'm about try to repair my DISA on the weekend. I already bought throttle body spray, and RTV silicone (high temp - just in case), my basic plan is to take the DISA out, open it up clean it thoroughly with the throttle body spray and seal it with the RTV gasket maker silicone.
MyFirst330Ci - is there anything else to it ??
