Front Wheel Play

Can anyone help with my problem? I have a 01 330 CIC that has front end issues. I can jack it up and position my hands at 3 o'clock & 9 o'clock and experience movement, both in the tires and steering wheel. The key was not in or on so the wheel itself moved from lock position to lock position. Hands in the 12 & 6 position and everything is tight. The control arms and bushings have been replaced. Tie Rod ends seem tight and I have no roaring noise or issues of wheel bearings. All comments welcomed.

No, no issues driving at all. I just have slight play in the steering wheel and a sloppy feel to the handleing and of course can turn the steering wheel and tire with front tires in the 9&3 hand position with the car up and ignition locked. I had an 01 325 Sedan with twice the miles (both with sport packages) that had tighter steering than this 330 convert.:(

Thanks for the advice, i think i will go ahead and replace those parts then have an all wheel alignment.

Does anyone know about the comfort access "auto drop" on the front windows? Mine seem to go down each time i open the doors, which is normal, but, every other time they stop at a different position which results in the window over-raising and coming to rest above the track on the convert. top. Both window regulators were just replaced. I did the 10-15 second reset procedure and they still malfunction. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Thanks in advance, this site is great.

I think some front wheel play is normal. I mean, you have rubber CABs so they allow for some play in them. The steering guibo might be all you need and it is only a $50 part. Some have reported a large improvement in overall steering feel while others (like myself) did not get the large change they wanted.
