:cry:I feel pretty sad. I just found a deep grove on the right front brake disc.
My 335iS is just over 1500 miles. :( I know I will bring to the dealer to check it out, but due to my work, I can not do it until this Saturday. Anybody knows what could cause the problem?
Can I still drive to work for the rest of the week? Do you think the warranty will cover the fix?
Attached two pictures: first one has deep groove, second one is normal rear brake disc

Oh, I have to say some positive words about BMW. This is my first BMW after living on this planet for 30 yrs. Drove Honda, Mazda, Toyota/Lexus and GM cars before, BMW is on top of every other cars in term of driving experience. Enjoy yours my fellow festers! Help me if you can, Thanks for reading,

Floyd has it covered--almost certainly a rock. Have the dealer check it out to ensure whatever cut the groove is gone, but the culprit may have already worn away. Otherwise, don't worry about driving the car. The groove may level out somewhat in time but even if it doesn't, it's cosmetic and won't hurt braking performance. When you eventually need brakes, the normal BMW procedure is to replace pads and rotors, so you'll be good as new.

The warranty will cover the repair if the groove was caused by something that failed. If was just a rock, as seems likely, it will probably not be repaired because it's considered normal wear and tear.
